The Multiview or Split Views feature in Revu lets you break up your workspace into up to sixteen independent splits, each showing a different file or area of the same file. And the best part? Split Views
Controls for splitting the screen are found on the Navigation bar at the bottom of your workspace or in the “View” menu.
To split the window vertically, click “Split Vertical” or press CTRL + 2.
To split the window horizontally, click “Split Horizontal” or press CTRL + H.
You also create multiple horizontal and vertical splits. For instance, create the 1st split (Vertical) on the main document & click on the split section that you want to split further. Then, again split the desired view (Horizontal).
Vertical > Horizontal Splits
Or vice versa.
Horizontal > Vertical Splits
To remove the applied split, click “Unsplit” or press CTRL + SHIFT + 2.
Synchronise Views
You can also Synchronise pan & zoom settings across split views. Synchronisation is useful when you need to compare multiple versions of the same document. Panning or zooming the document in one window will automatically adjust the view in the second window.
To enable Synchronisation, select a synchronisation mode from the “View” menu or enable the “Synchronise View” option from the Navigation bar.
There are two synchronisation modes in the “View” menu:
- Synchronise Document
- Synchronise Page
With Synchronise Document feature, you can view the same page in both documents at the same time, making it easy to compare and analyze information. But what if you want to compare two different pages in the same document or two different documents? With Synchronise Page feature lets you sync up the viewing windows without worrying about which page you're on, so you can focus on the content you want to compare.
You can synchronise 2 different documents or pages and make your markups and measurements on your required document while tracking changes in the split and synchronised views.
