Share and update
With BIMserver.center you can develop and share your projects with users you have authorised within a collaborative workspace.
Manage your projects effectively.
Within the Open BIM workflow, all the information of the project, each piece of data or file that is being worked on, is located in a specific place.
This data can only be modified by the user that has generated them.
This way, all the project files move in the same direction, avoid duplicated and files with obsolete versions.
Distribution of responsibilities
All the data making up the project can be viewed as a whole from any place and at any time. However, each participant can only edit the information she/he has generated.
Therefore, all users can view the components that are being developed by other participants, and bear them in mind to make their decisions.
At the same time, a clear allocation of project responsibilities is established, since each specialist establishes the solutions for his discipline autonomously and no other participant has the capacity to modify them (decoupled analysis models).
Additionally, if an inconsistency is detected, any element can be corrected. This is done so via a change suggestion linked to the element or property to be modified and addressed exclusively to the user who is responsible for that change.
This clear and secure hierarchy of the project information is achieved thanks to there not being any two-way synchronisation processes.
Instead of having to add information to a single large size file, and synchronise it each time new elements are incorporated, in the Open BIM workflow, each member manages his/her files and updates them independently.
They are the specialised applications, and via BIMserver.center, those in charge of gathering all the information of the participants and display it integrally.
Upon working with this type of one-way updates, the different analysis models can be isolated and decoupled from the project and, therefore, accept a detailed resolution.
