To get you excited about working from home with this professional, modern collaboration offer, here are some quick facts about Studio and its capabilities. Scroll to the end of this post for an invitation to a free live webinar.
Bluebeam Studio is included in your license!
Studio, the online collaboration solution from Bluebeam, can be accessed for free from every user with a valid license. There is unlimited space for your documents and you can even invite people who are using the free trial or work in viewing mode (that’s the new way to use Revu to view files without a full paid license) to collaborate on your PDFs.
Bluebeam Studio is secure!
Bluebeam Studio offers a european server (located in the UK) in line with to the data protection regulations that came into place in 2016. Simply create new accounts for you and your team on this server to make sure your data is save and protected by GDPR.
There are two parts to Bluebeam Studio
Projects is where you do your document management. Upload an unlimited number of files (not restricted to PDF by the way) and create an archive or library for each of your projects. With just a few clicks, invite people to access either the entire project or just particular files and folders. Easily manage privileges like printing, downloading and commenting.
Sessions is where the actual work takes place: Select one file or a set of files (either directly out of a Studio Project or from your computer) and start a new Session. Up to 500 people work either live or time-staggered on the same set of PDF documents. There is a live chat built in so everyone can comment on their markups, answer questions and make changes quickly.
Colleagues cannot change your markups!
When working in a Studio Session only the person who creates a markup can change or delete it. Thanks to a detailed event log, everyone is responsible for their work and it’s easy to follow up on decisions made and changes approved. When the session is finished, you’ll get a new copy of all documents and a PDF file of the protocol for full accountability.
